How live stock works
Every branch maintains its own stock levels. When a customer buys an item at the point of sale, that branch’s stock decreases immediately. A purchase order receipt increases stock at the receiving branch. Consolidated reports in Analytics roll up totals across all locations.Adjust stock counts
1
Open the product
In the Products module, find the item you need to adjust and open its inventory details.
2
Select the branch
Choose the branch whose stock you are updating.
3
Enter the adjustment
Add or remove units and provide a reason, such as “damaged goods” or “stocktake correction.”
4
Save
Save the adjustment. The stock count updates immediately and the change is recorded in the history.
Transfer stock between branches
1
Start a transfer
In the Inventory section, select the option to transfer stock and choose the source branch.
2
Add items
Select the products and quantities you want to move.
3
Choose the destination
Pick the receiving branch and confirm the transfer.
4
Receive at destination
At the receiving branch, open the pending transfer and confirm receipt. Stock updates at both locations once confirmed.
Set low-stock alerts
1
Open a product
Go to the product and open its inventory settings.
2
Set the threshold
Enter the minimum quantity you want to keep on hand. You can set a different threshold per branch.
3
Enable alerts
Turn on low-stock notifications. The system will warn you when the count drops below the threshold.
Exact labels for transfer actions, adjustment reasons, and alert settings may vary. Refer to the in-app UI for the current wording.
