Zenso is Zentrix Cloud’s own payment service, built directly into the platform. Once you activate Zenso, it works across your online checkout, POS counters, and payment links — all from a single account. There is no separate merchant account to open, no third-party dashboard to check, and no integration code to maintain.

Activating Zenso

Before you can accept payments, you need to activate Zenso and complete business verification. This is a one-time process required to comply with financial regulations.
  1. Go to Settings > Payments > Zenso.
  2. Click Activate Zenso.
  3. Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification step:
    • Upload your business registration certificate.
    • Provide your bank account details for settlement.
    • Submit any additional documents requested based on your business type.
  4. Once your submission is reviewed and approved, Zenso becomes active across all your sales channels automatically.
Verification is typically completed within one to two business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your account is approved.
Payment links let you collect payments without needing a customer to visit your store or checkout page. This is useful for phone orders, invoices, or any situation where you need to request payment directly.
  1. Go to Payments > Links and click Create Link.
  2. Enter the amount, an optional description, and an expiry date if needed.
  3. Copy the generated link and share it with your customer via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
  4. The customer clicks the link and pays through a secure, Zenso-hosted payment page.
  5. Funds settle to your registered bank account on the next settlement cycle.
You can view all payment links — including their status (pending, paid, expired) — from the Payments > Links list.

Refunds

You can issue a full or partial refund directly from the original transaction record. Refunds are returned to the customer’s original payment method.
  1. Go to Payments > Transactions and locate the transaction you want to refund.
  2. Click the transaction to open its detail view.
  3. Click Refund and choose whether to issue a full refund or enter a custom amount for a partial refund.
  4. Confirm the refund. Zentrix Cloud submits the refund request to the payment network immediately.
The transaction record updates to reflect the refunded amount, and the original status changes to Refunded or Partially Refunded. Refund processing times depend on the customer’s bank or card issuer, but are typically reflected within three to five business days.

Webhooks

Zenso can send real-time event notifications to a URL you control, so your systems stay in sync without polling the Zentrix Cloud API.
  1. Go to Settings > Payments > Webhooks.
  2. Click Add Endpoint and enter your server URL.
  3. Select the events you want to receive, or subscribe to all events.
  4. Click Save. Zenso will start sending POST requests to your endpoint for each selected event.
Supported events: Example payload — payment.completed:
Verify webhook payloads using the signature header sent with every request. Zentrix Cloud includes a cryptographic signature in the X-Zenso-Signature header so you can confirm the payload came from Zenso and was not tampered with in transit.
